We have just celebrated our first six months of opening our doors to the community! If you haven’t already, please feel free to come and see us. We still have sessions available and for a limited time we are offering twenty-five hours ECE, for 3-5 year olds who attend Buttercups Preschool for five afternoons. We enjoyed a visit from CCC Citycare on Tuesday morning!
The children had a great time listening to a story about diggers and learned about the meaning of different road signs. We also talked about the rebuild for Christchurch and how many roadworks are going on around our city currently. The children had the opportunity to ask questions and try on the special protective clothing which road workers wear. The hats were a favourite! The children even had a turn with some of the special toy diggers and trucks, which looked and sounded just like the real ones! We really enjoyed our morning, thank you CityCare!
Opening Week….
Buttercups Preschool has had an amazing first week of being open! We have had beautiful sunshine for the children and staff to enjoy in our outdoor area. The sandpit and water play have been key areas of interest so far, along with the wheelbarrow and numerous trucks which are available to play with.
It has been great seeing the children enjoying the environment here at Buttercups. We welcome all those who have enrolled with us and look forward to getting to know you all! Prospective families are welcome to come and visit us!
